A training log is full of numbers. Weights change, reps change, you miss weeks, you switch machines. It is hard to tell whether the work is paying off.
It takes your best set from each session and counts reps you had left in reserve, so a hard 8 and an easy 8 are not the same. Results are smoothed so one great or bad day does not swing your number. Each new lift gets a few sessions to settle before it counts. Lifts are chained together, so adding or dropping an exercise never resets your score.
Your workouts are read and scored on your phone. There is no account and no server holding your workouts. The only outside connection is to Hevy, if you choose Connect Hevy, and your key is not saved. Your results, weigh-ins and plan stay on this phone, and you can wipe them any time with Clear my data at the bottom of the home screen.

A sudden jump or drop can mean a new machine, bar or grip, not a change in strength. Tell us which, so your score counts real progress only.
If you say no, nothing changes. If you say yes, we count progress from the new starting point and your Index is recalculated. You can change an answer here any time.
